Covid-19 update: UAE reports 2,515 cases, 1 death

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 2,515 Covid-19 cases on January 3.

The new cases were reported, after 371,384 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 862 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 747,715.

The nationwide Covid-19 case count has now risen to 769,608, with the death toll standing at 2,169.
