Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: New cases in the UAE drop below 2,000 for first time in 2 months The nationwide case count has risen to 426,397 by Zainab Mansoor March 14, 2021 The UAE’s health ministry has reported a total of 1,992 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection on March 14, marking a drop in daily cases below 2,000 for the first time in two months. The infections were detected as a result of 232,901 examinations conducted across the nation to screen for the virus. The ministry also confirmed 2,169 recoveries that were reported in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, seven patients succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 1,395.
