Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,871 cases, 2,144 recoveries

The UAE reported 1,871 additional Covid-19 cases on March 22, its health ministry has confirmed.

The new infections were detected as a result of 185,531 tests conducted to screen for the Covid-19 virus.

Meanwhile, 2,144 patients have recovered from the contagion in the past 24 hours, scaling the number of recoveries to 424,840.

The death toll stands at 1,445, while the nationwide case count has now risen to 442,226.
