Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,847 cases, 2 deaths

The UAE’s health ministry reported 1,847 Covid-19 infections on May 2.

The new infections were detected, following 205,625 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

The country’s health ministry also confirmed that 1,791 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the tally to 504,251.

Meanwhile, with two additional fatalities, the death toll stands at 1,593.
