Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,615 cases, 2,219 recoveries The nationwide case count has risen to 860,976 by Zainab Mansoor February 8, 2022 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 1,615 Covid-19 cases on February 8. The new infections were detected, after 482,477 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 2,219 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recovered patients to 788,861. Four deaths due to Covid complications were also reported, increasing the related death toll to 2,269. The nationwide case count has risen to 860,976.
