Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,060 cases, 4 deaths

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 1,060 Covid-19 cases on August 23.

The new cases were detected, following 290,691 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also revealed 1,659 recoveries and four deaths due to Covid-19-related complications during the last 24 hours.

The nationwide case count in the country has now risen to 710,438. This includes 692,585 recoveries and 2,024 deaths.
