Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE registers 1,231 infections, highest daily rise since the outbreak The death toll in the UAE has risen to 426 by Zainab Mansoor October 3, 2020 The UAE has registered 1,231 new infections of the novel coronavirus infection, its highest daily increase in new cases since the contagion was first recorded in the country. The new cases were detected as a result of 117,812 examinations, conducted to screen for the virus. The second highest daily rise in infections, equalling 1,181, was recorded yesterday, October 2. Since September 20, the UAE has registered in excess of 13,500 new infections across the country. The health ministry also confirmed 1,051 additional recoveries and two related deaths.
