Home Covid-19 Covid-19: UAE reports 2,234 new cases, 775 recoveries The new cases were found after 448,050 tests were conducted to screen for the virus by Gulf Business December 29, 2021 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said that it had detected 2,234 new coronavirus cases over the preceding 24 hours. The total number of recorded cases in the UAE therefore stands at 757,145. The new cases were found after 448,050 tests were conducted to screen for the virus. The ministry added that no deaths were recorded due to the virus over the last 24 hours. Also, 775 individuals have fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 743,340. The UAE recently approved a Sinopharm vaccine which can be used as booster shots to protect against new variants. “The Sinopharm protein-based vaccine and other Sinopharm vaccines are effective in producing antibodies.
