Covid-19: UAE reports 1,506 new cases, two deaths

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1,506 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of recorded infections in the country to 204,369.

‏The infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

The new cases were detected after the ministry conducted 153,157 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours.

‏MoHAP also announced two deaths due to Covid-19 complications, taking the overall death toll in the country to 662.

An additional 1,475 individuals also fully recovered from the virus, with total recoveries reaching 181,400.

‏In a statement, the ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

It also urged the public to adhere to the precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of all.
