Covid-19: UAE reports 1,234 cases, 1,516 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,234 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, November 2.

The total number of cases detected thus far therefore stands at 135,141.

The new infections were detected following 71,466 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

The ministry added that there were 1,516 recoveries over the preceding 24 hours. As a result, 132,024 individuals have recovered from the virus.

There was one death recorded too as a result of the infection.

A total of 497 people have died from Covid-19 in the country since the start of the outbreak
