The total number of recorded cases in the UAE therefore stands at 759,511. The new cases were found after 425,682 tests were conducted to screen for the virus. The Ministry of Health conducts 425,682 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 2,366 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 840 recoveries and 2 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover — NCEMA UAE (@NCEMAUAE) December 30, 2021 According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. MoHAP also announced two deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,162. MoHAP also noted that an additional 840 individuals had fully recovered from the infection, bringing the total number of recoveries to 744,180. Meanwhile, an an effort to limit the spread of Covid-19, Dubai International Airport will now conduct random PCR tests on passengers on arrival. Officials have confirmed that as a precautionary measure additional tests are being conducted on flights not included on this list. UK is not on the list of countries requiring PCR tests.
