The testing is priced at Dhs180 at the facility, which is located close to the Capital Health Screening Centre at the Al Jazeera Sports Club. The samples taken will be tested at facilities belonging to the National Reference Laboratory. Individuals do not require to pre-book appointments, and will receive their results via SMS between 24 and 48 hours of being tested. The centre is open from Sunday to Thursday, 9am-6pm. “The new testing centre will benefit from the experiences acquired from previous Covid-19 tests and will be open to the public, [and] even to holders of tourist visas,” said Hassan Jassim Al Nowais, senior vice president of Mubadala Healthcare. “We are cooperating with the NRL’s facilities to analyse the test samples and ensure accurate results.” The Capital Health Screening Centre is also supporting the national screening project in Mussafah. The UAE said on Tuesday that it had conducted a total of 110,807 Covid-19 tests over the preceding 24 hours.
