Covid-19: Saudi reports four more deaths, cases reach 1,299

On Sunday, March 29, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health took to Twitter to announce four additional Covid-19 fatalities, alongside 96 new cases in the kingdom.

A total of eight people have now succumbed to the Covid-19 contagion in the kingdom with the total number of those infected tallying 1,299.

Of the 96 newly diagnosed cases, the highest were recorded in Riyadh (27) and Damman (23).

As many as 68 cases were linked to contact with previously infected individuals while 28 cases were travel-related.

Meanwhile, 66 people are said to have fully recovered in the kingdom.

Oman
A total of 15 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the sultanate, Times of Oman reported on March 29.

Of the 167 confirmed coronavirus cases in Oman, 23 cases have now recovered.

Kuwait
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has announced an additional 20 Covid-19 cases in the country, Kuwait News Agency reported on Sunday.

The newly diagnosed cases have brought the Gulf nation’s tally of confirmed cases to 255, including 67 people who have fully recovered.
