The upgrade includes new features like the Compass Chat mobile app, which offers seamless AI access and enhanced productivity tools for businesses. The revamped Compass Platform introduces advanced artificial intelligence (AI) AI models, including ‘Stable Diffusion’ for text-to-image generation and ‘Mixtral 8x7B’, a sparse mixture of experts (SMoE) model for diverse text-generation applications. The platform, now redesigned for improved navigation, also integrates Qualcomm Cloud AI 100 Ultra inference accelerators, allowing users to access pre-optimised AI models for generative AI, embedding, computer vision, and natural language processing. Core42’s Compass offers flexibility and efficiency “Compass 2.0 is a testament to Core42’s pursuit of excellence in AI infrastructure. The addition of the Compass Chat mobile app will redefine how businesses interact with AI, offering greater flexibility and efficiency,” said Raghu Chakravarthi, EVP of Engineering at Core42. Available on both Android and iOS, the Compass Chat app enhances employee productivity by integrating with ‘Entra ID’ for secure onboarding. It also uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology for data accuracy and offers advanced language processing with models like GPT-4o and JAIS 30B, supporting both Arabic and English. The revamp reflects Core42’s efforts to strengthen data sovereignty controls, ensuring businesses can securely implement AI solutions while protecting sensitive data.
