Head to the Green Zone at COP28 in December. You can now book a free Green Zone Day Pass to visit COP28 UAE at Expo City Dubai from December 3-12 . The conference begins on November 30 and will go on until December 12. COP28 is expected to gather 70,000 participants, such as heads of state, government officials, international industry leaders, private sector representatives, academics, experts, youth and members of the community. The conference has two key zones for visitors. Overseen by the COP28 Presidency, the Green Zone has been structured to enable engagement and interaction with the Blue Zone. The zone has seven thematic hubs aimed at engaging and informing general visitors about climate change and action. It will be open to Blue Zone delegates and guests, the public and private sectors, NGOs, and the general public. The Blue Zone, on the other hand, is a UNFCCC-managed site, open to accredited party and observer delegates only. Activities in the Green Zone The Green Zone will host climate-themed film screening, installations and interactive exhibits. It will conduct more than 300 talks and discussions about climate change, climate action and sustainability. Visitors can connect and learn from over 200 groups including private companies and civil society organisations. More details for visitors Visitor hours for the Green Zone hubs are from 10am-6pm. Click here to book your pass now. Tickets and travel Valid only for the day you choose, allowing access only on that date. Each ticket can be scanned only once, so it cannot be used for multiple entries. Visitors are encouraged to use the Dubai Metro for the fastest and most sustainable way to travel to both COP28 zones. Take note Tickets for the zone will not be available from November 30 to December 2 – the first three days of COP28. Access to the Green Zone will be strictly by invitation-only during these days.
