Set within NEOM’s Magna district, the resort will have a backdrop of mountains and the Gulf of Aqaba coastline. This marks Capella’s second property in the Middle East and reflects its strategy of expanding its wellness offerings. The resort, built around an oasis, will feature 80 custom-designed rooms and suites. The design blends contemporary style with the surrounding environment. The resort builds upon Capella’s wellness expertise by offering a curated selection of treatments and experiences under the Capella Wellness brand. The resort’s architecture pays homage to the region with geometric shapes reminiscent of nature. Guests can explore expansive plazas, unwind in sun-drenched gardens, or take in breathtaking views from the observation tower. Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and innovative techniques will tantalize guests’ taste buds. Additionally, private dining options cater to special occasions. Chris Newman, executive director of NEOM’s Hotel Division, emphasized the partnership’s focus on sustainability. “The partnership…ensures guests an innovative and revitalising escape,” he said. In recent news, NEOM unveiled its latest project: Jaumur. Positioned on the picturesque coast of the Gulf of Aqaba, Jaumur will offer luxury residences, world-class amenities and a vibrant waterfront lifestyle. The exclusive residential community, centred around a stunning marina, aims to accommodate more than 6,000 residents. The community has 500 marina apartments and 700 luxury villas, each offering waterfront access and private mooring.
