The 458-room hotel is expected to be ready by 2020

Hilton and AW Rostamani Group have signed an agreement to build a DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Mankhool property in Bur Dubai.

The 458-key project is Rostamani’s first hospitality project and is expected to be completed by 2020.

The hotel will be part of a mixed-use development which is already under construction.

Of the 458 rooms, there will be 327 guestrooms and 131 serviced apartments. Additionally, there will be five F&B outlets, two outdoor pools, a fitness and business centre too on the premises.

The deal marks the 11th Hilton property in Dubai which is either already operating or in the pipeline.

This upcoming DoubleTree project will be located in the historic ‘Old Town’ district of Dubai and close to landmarks such as the Dubai Museum, Al Fahidi Fort, Dubai Creek and the souq area.

The property will also be conveniently located next to two metro stations and a short distance away from the Burjuman Shopping Mall.

“Since we introduced DoubleTree by Hilton to the UAE four years ago, the brand has been a real success story and is now one of the fastest growing in the market,” said Carlos Khneisser, vice president of development, Middle East & North Africa, Hilton.

Khalid Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani, chairman of AW Rostamani Group added, “DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Mankhool represents the expansion of the AWR Properties portfolio, whilst also supporting the leadership’s Dubai Plan 2021 vision to establish Dubai as the preferred place to live, work and visit.

“Bur Dubai’s rich cultural history offers the ideal location for the new hotel project, and will provide us with another platform to continue enriching customer’s lives.”
