Al Habtoor hotels offer 24×7 kosher in-room dining in Dubai

Al Habtoor Hotels has partnered with Elli’s Kosher Kitchen to become the UAE’s first hotel group to introduce 24×7 kosher in-room dining food and beverage services at three of its properties in Dubai.

The kosher service is available at its Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, V Hotel Curio Collection by Hilton and Habtoor Palace Dubai LXR Hotel and Resorts, which together comprise the Al Habtoor City, Hotel Collection of properties.

Guests will be able to order from an OU Certified Kosher Room Service Menu throughout the day.

It includes breakfast items, as well as a curated range of kosher favourites including a selection of kosher grape beverages and separate a kid’s menu too, all of which are prepared in accordance to the OU Kosher Certification (Orthodox United).

Last month, the Al Habtoor Group introduced kosher food and beverages across all its properties in the UAE. “Following the instant positive feedback, we received when we launched our Kosher catering facility last month, we decided to take it one step further,” said Fredrik Reinisch – complex general manager for Al Habtoor City, Hotel Collection.

“We are also excited to offer special Shabbat meals to guests upon request,” he added.

The UAE’s first kosher restaurant, Armani/Kaf, opened in the Burj Khalifa’s Armani Hotel Dubai on September 17.

Earlier this week, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi signed an agreement with the Emirates Agency for Kosher Certification, led by Rabbi Levi Duchman, to launch the Abu Dhabi Hotels Kosher Certification Project, which will officially certify the emirate’s hotels that serve kosher meals.
