Air India is launching its brand new Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft on the Mumbai – Dubai route, its second international route for the new Airbus aircraft.
The Indian airline said the new aircraft will be in operation on the route starting June 1.
The A350 will operate on 1 of 3 daily AI983/984 service, replacing the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Flights start from 1st June 2024.
The new aircraft is the first of the 20 that Air India took received in December 2023. The route will offer fliers the option to choose from three class cabins – Business, Premium Economy or Economy Class seats and has a capacity of 316 passengers.

Additionally, the Business class on the Air India A350 will feature 28 private suites in a 1-2-1 configuration, each with aisle access and sliding privacy doors. The Premium Economy cabin on this aircraft will have 24 wide seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration.
