The inaugural flight from Cairo to Istanbul on April 6 was met with a traditional water cannon salute and a welcome ceremony upon arrival at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. The carrier will operate three weekly flights between Cairo and Istanbul on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. In other news, Air Arabia opened its newest City Check-in facility in Dubai in March. The facility is located at City Centre Al Shindagha in the Al Fahidi area. The total count of the airline’s city check-in facilities across the UAE has gone up to 12. The new facility operates daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
