Home UAE Abu Dhabi Air Arabia Abu Dhabi launches new service to Tashkent Starting June 24, the airline will operate a twice-weekly direct flight to the capital of Uzbekistan by Varun Godinho May 6, 2021 Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, has confirmed that it will introduce a new service to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, from Abu Dhabi starting on June 24, 2021. The twice weekly direct flight will operate every Thursday and Sunday. It will depart from Abu Dhabi at 10.30am on Thursday and arrive in Tashkent at 3pm local time. On Sunday, it will depart at 9.15am and arrive at the Uzebkistan capital at 1.45pm. On Thursdays, the return flight departs from Tashkent at 4.20pm, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 7.05pm. Meanwhile on Sunday, it departs from Tashkent at 3.05pm and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 5.50pm. The sectors will be operated by the airline’s A320 aircraft. Tashkent has become the tenth route for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi since the launch of the carrier’s service from Abu Dhabi International Airport on July 14, 2020. On April 25, Abu Dhabi added Uzbekistan to its “green list” of countries. The green list now has 23 destinations including Japan, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, and the UK.
