Ain Dubai, the world’s tallest and largest observation wheel, has officially reopened after an over two-year closure for enhancements, with tickets now available for purchase and the wheel once again in motion.

While no official announcement was made regarding the reopening date, the wheel resumed operations on Wednesday, December 25, and surrounding public spaces on Bluewaters Island have also been reopened to the public.

As assured when Ain Dubai closed in March 2022, the revamped attraction offers a variety of new experiences and elevated ticket options, allowing visitors to enjoy upgraded amenities and exclusive access.

Ain Dubai: Tickets, offerings

  • Standard tickets for adults are priced at Dhs145, with children’s tickets (ages 3 to 12) available for Dhs115. Children under three years old can enjoy the attraction free of charge. The entry-level ticket includes access to the pre-ride interactive displays and a shared cabin offering panoramic views of the city during a 50-minute ride.
  • For those looking for a more premium experience, premium tickets are available starting from Dhs265 for adults and Dhs215 for children. Premium ticket holders enjoy priority access to skip the lines, two complimentary mocktails, and entry to the luxurious Ain Dubai lounge, which offers sweeping views of Dubai’s skyline.Upgrades are available, with options to replace mocktails with two cocktails for Dhs295 or glasses of a grape-based beverage for Dhs395, which can be enjoyed either in the lounge or from the cabin.
  • Ain Dubai Views Plus tickets, priced from Dgs195 for adults and Dhs155 for children, provide visitors with access to the pre-ride interactive displays, a shared cabin, a choice of snack and drink, fast-track access, and two digital photographs taken during the ride.

For those seeking a more exclusive experience, Ain Dubai offers VIP packages for private cabin rentals. These are available for groups of six, 10, or 20, with prices ranging from Dhs1,260 to Dhs6,150.

VIP cabins include a separate entry, access to the lounge, professional photography services, and customisable in-cabin menus.

Surcharges apply for sunset trips between 4pm and 6:30pm, so visitors booking during these hours should expect to pay a premium.

Timings and availability

Ain Dubai’s operating hours are now set from 12pm to 9pm from Tuesday to Friday. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday), the wheel opens an hour earlier, from 11am to 12pm.

The attraction will remain closed on Mondays.

Ain Dubai highlights

Since its opening on October 21, 2021, Ain Dubai has been one of Dubai’s most highly anticipated landmarks.

Standing at 250 metres tall, the observation wheel offers stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding area, including Bluewaters Island, Dubai Marina, JBR, the Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, and the Arabian Gulf.

The attraction is not only the tallest observation wheel globally but also the largest, surpassing the High Roller in Las Vegas by 82 metres and almost doubling the size of the London Eye.
