Aldar Mandarin Oriental partner to bring exclusive branded residences to Saadiyat Island

Saadiyat Island, known for its pristine beaches and world-class attractions, is set to welcome a new exclusive branded residence development.

Aldar, Abu Dhabi’s leading real estate developer has partnered with Mandarin Oriental, the owner and operator of some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences, to bring the Mandarin Oriental Residences Saadiyat Island to the UAE capital.

The partnership comes as demand for branded residences is experiencing sustained growth in Abu Dhabi, with a penthouse within one of Aldar’s branded residential developments on Saadiyat Island setting a record transaction for Abu Dhabi earlier this year, selling for Dhs137m.

Set to launch for sale later in the year, Mandarin Oriental Residences will consist of 228 premium homes.

The exclusive development will be within walking distance of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the forthcoming Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

Mandarin Oriental Residences will give residents access to 3,500 square metres of premium dining spaces along the Zayed National Museum promenade, with an additional 60,000 square metres of experiential retail, entertainment and leisure options at the nearby Saadiyat Grove.

Talal Al Dhiyebi, group CEO at Aldar, shared: “Our partnership with Mandarin Oriental reflects the strength of demand amongst local and overseas buyers for premium developments in Abu Dhabi and will further elevate the luxury living experience within Saadiyat Cultural District.”

Laurent Kleitman, group chief executive at Mandarin Oriental, added, “We are delighted to partner with Aldar on this landmark development in Abu Dhabi, introducing the Mandarin Oriental lifestyle to residents for the first time.

“With our signature attention to detail and dedication to legendary service, we look forward to establishing a new benchmark for luxury living in Abu Dhabi.”

In other news, Aldar and Mubadala recently broke ground at One Maryah Place, a two-tower Grade A commercial development on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s leading business and lifestyle destination.
