Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall has been reopened after being evacuated on Tuesday morning, officials have confirmed.
“Earlier this morning an alarm went off in Yas Mall and we asked customers and staff to temporarily vacate the premises. The Mall is now open and we apologise for any inconvenience,” the Abu Dhabi government media office said on Twitter.
No further details were disclosed.

Shoppers were asked to leave the mall shortly after 9am, while amusement park Ferrari World was also closed, The National had reported.
Yas Marina Circuit was also closed until 4pm, the paper said.
Many Abu Dhabi residents had taken to Twitter to confirm that the area around the mall was inaccessible.
