Financial free zone Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) said it would launch a support programme for entrepreneurs and start-ups on Tuesday.

The initiative follows the unveiling of a new commercial licence for start-ups, available for as little as $700, last month.

It will include seminars, networking sessions, mentorship clinics, and workshops for entrepreneurs and start-ups on topics relating to business set-up, growth, financial planning, legal and compliance, ADGM said.

The programme will also host one-on-one professional services and mentorship sessions for businesses, as well as special advisory sessions around intellectual property and other areas.

Partners include Al Tamimi & Company, Disruptive Legal, KPMG, Rethink Me LTD, Squire Patton Boggs, Support Legal and E11 Advisory.

“The programme is bringing together leading private-sector organisations in support of entrepreneurial development and regional expansion,” said ADGM Registration Authority CEO Dhaher Bin Dhaher.

“Tech start-ups will now receive world-class support services from industry leaders at minimal or zero cost that will grow and develop.”
