Abu Dhabi Crown Prince arrives in India on state visit

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in New Delhi for an official visit to India.

His arrival was marked by a red-carpet reception at the airport, where he was welcomed by Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, state news agency WAM reported.

This is Sheikh Khaled’s first visit to India as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The Crown Prince reviewed a ceremonial guard of honour and attended a traditional cultural performance showcasing India’s rich heritage.

His delegation included several high-profile UAE officials: Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies; Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Sheikh Khaled will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit.

He will also hold talks with senior Indian officials aimed at enhancing cooperation in key economic sectors.

Both countries have achieved significant milestones in bilateral relations, and the talks are expected to build on these accomplishments for the mutual benefit of their citizens.

Sheikh Khaled will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, business leaders, and prominent economic partners from the UAE.

In addition to official meetings, the Crown Prince will attend several events highlighting the deep economic and cultural ties between the UAE and India.
