Five last minute Eid outings in the UAE

With the long Eid Al Adha weekend almost upon us, if you still haven’t charted out a plan for the holiday, here are a few options to keep yourself (and your family) entertained.

1. Go driving at the Yas Marina Circuit

Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit has special offers this Eid Al Adha for those looking to do some adventurous driving.

When you buy a Jaguar F-TYPE driving experience worth Dhs1,300, you receive 50 per cent off on the passenger experience (Dhs250 after the discount).

Buying an SST Radical passenger experience will also give you 50 per cent off the second one (Dhs220 after the discount).

Lastly, those opting for a Mercedes AMG GTS driving experience (Dhs1,500) will receive 50 per cent off a drift taxi passenger experience (Dhs165 after the discount).

Offers are valid from September 4 –17.

2. Binge-watch movies

Reel Cinemas will offer 24-hour screenings at The Dubai Mall and after midnight screenings at Dubai Marina Mall, City Walk and The Beach during the Eid break.

Some of the movies you can catch include historical action drama, Ben Hur; American biographical drama, Sully; Fantasy adventure, Pete’s Dragon; Saudi drama-comedy film, Barakah meets Barakah and Hindi romantic drama, Baar Baar Dekho.

3. Enjoy a sumptuous Eid feast

There are plenty of Eid Al Adha brunch offers across the UAE to choose from this weekend.

Head to the grand Imperium in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for a special buffet lunch priced at Dhs165 during the weekend or gorge on a traditional brunch feast on the second and third day of Eid Al Adha at Gozo Garden Restaurant at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai (costs Dhs195 with unlimited soft drinks, canned juices and water).

The Address Dubai Mall also offers Eid breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and dinner options across its F&B outlets including Karat, Na3Na3 and Cabana.

4. Enjoy a fireworks display

If you are not interested in shelling out the cash but want to be part of the celebrations, head to The Beach opposite JBR where you can enjoy a colourful fireworks display on the water at 8.30pm each night.

5. Celebrate Eid with your kids at KidZania

KidZania at The Dubai Mall is presenting a variety of activities for Eid Al Adha including special performances and entertainment throughout the day.

Children can also enjoy Eid themed events at the supermarket, vault, beauty salon, fashion boutique and culinary school.
