Oman LNG Looks To Sell Cargo To Asia Via Union Fenosa Gas -Traders

The Oman liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant is marketing a single cargo to sell to northeast Asia via Union Fenosa Gas (UFG), traders said on Friday.

The cargo would be for May delivery, they said.

UFG has a long-term offtake agreement with the plant, to supply its domestic market in Spain, but also has a deal to divert cargoes to Asia under a profit-sharing agreement with the Oman government.

UFG has diverted cargoes from Oman into Asia under this deal in the past.
