Home World Europe Jumeirah To Open Bodrum Resort In Turkey This May Jumeirah will soon have a second property in Turkey and second resort in Europe by Dominic Ellis March 2, 2015 The Jumeirah Bodrum Palace Hotel, Turkey is scheduled to open May 1, marking the luxury operator’s second Turkey property. The resort will be rebranded from the Golden Savoy, which opened last year. Although it only contains 135 rooms and villas – each offering views over the Aegean Sea – the grounds cover 110,000sqm and include 57 pools as well as a wide range of restaurants, lounges and bars. An exclusive 2,000sqm Palace residence has six deluxe master bedrooms, each with a jacuzzi, private indoor/outdoor pool, Turkish hammam and sauna, private beach and pier. Jumeirah will install its Talise Spa, with 12 treatment rooms, and a number of high-end shops. Guests can call on 24-hour butler service. It will complement the Jumeirah Pera Palace in Istanbul and marks the group’s second major resort in Europe after Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Majorca.
