Kuwait Resumes Oil Exports After Weather Improves

Kuwait briefly halted all its oil exports on Thursday due to a dust storm and bad weather.

Kuwait resumed crude and oil products exports after bad weather cleared, a spokesman for state-run Kuwait National Petroleum Co (KNPC) told Reuters on Friday.

“The weather is nice today and oil exports are on,” spokesman Khalid al-Asousi said.

The Gulf OPEC member has briefly halted all its oil exports on Thursday due to a dust storm and bad weather.

Kuwait produces around three million barrels of crude per day. It has three refineries, Shuaiba, Mina Abdullah and Mina al-Ahmadi, with a total refining capacity of around 930,000 bpd.
