Cloudflare expands regional footprint with AI-ready infrastructure and partnerships

At GITEX Global 2025, Bashar Bashaireh, AVP for the Middle East, Türkiye, and North Africa at Cloudflare, outlined how the company is accelerating its growth strategy across the region. With data centers now spanning 28 cities across MENA, Cloudflare is strengthening its mission to deliver fast, reliable, and secure connectivity within close proximity to its customers. “The Middle East and North Africa has been one of the fastest-growing regions for Cloudflare globally,” he said.

Bashaireh highlighted that as governments and enterprises across the GCC ramp up digital transformation, AI adoption, and cloud migration, Cloudflare is prioritizing solutions around cybersecurity, data sovereignty, and low-latency AI infrastructure. “We provide our cloud-native services within data centers in-country,” he said. “Many of those data centers are equipped with GPUs, which really helps organizations embrace AI within their digital transformations.”

He also emphasised the company’s channel-first strategy, underpinned by collaborations with telecom operators, system integrators, and cloud providers. “We believe in partnerships and we believe that collaboration is really key for us to reach most of the market out there in the region,” Bashaireh said, adding that 2025’s progress lays the groundwork for an even stronger 2026 as Cloudflare deepens investments in AI-ready, zero trust, and secure connectivity solutions.
