New Taraf–Masdar City partnership to deliver over 1,000 homes in Abu Dhabi

Taraf, the real estate division of Yas Holding, has signed a joint venture with Masdar City to develop a 1.4 million square metre residential community within Abu Dhabi’s flagship sustainable urban hub.

The project is designed to deliver a high-quality, human-centric environment that aligns with Masdar City’s vision of a vibrant, low-carbon destination redefining modern living. Planned around shaded walkways, cycling routes, and green spaces connected to Al Masar Park, the community will introduce rare freehold ownership opportunities alongside modern infrastructure and lifestyle amenities.

The masterplan features more than 1,000 single-family homes, including two- to six-bedroom villas and townhouses, organised in neighborhood clusters that encourage social interaction and family-friendly living. Dedicated clubs, parks, and walkable open spaces will be integrated to balance modern conveniences with abundant greenery, promoting resident wellbeing and an active lifestyle connected to Masdar City’s wider ecosystem of work, leisure, and innovation.
