Abu Dhabi Mobility is working closely with the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to ensure compliance with the new rules. Effective January 27, 2025, the updated policy restricts the movement of freight vehicles, trucks, tankers, and heavy equipment during peak hours on weekdays and Fridays. List of updated timings for heavy vehicle movement in Abu Dhabi The updated hours will apply from Monday to Thursday, with restrictions in place from 6:30 am to 9 am in the morning and again from 3 pm to 7 pm. On Fridays, heavy vehicles will be prohibited from 6:30 am to 9 am and 11 am to 1 pm.
