The event will run until December 12. With Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) serving as the headline partner, the event is set to bring together over 20,000 leaders, experts, and executives from across the financial services industry, representing a collective $42.5tn in assets under management. More than 60 industry-defining events and strategic forums will take place across 350 thematic sessions, with more than 600 influential speakers taking part in discussions at ADFW. Abu Dhabi Finance Week: Theme and flagship forums The central theme of this year’s gathering, “Welcome to the Capital of Capital”, reflects Abu Dhabi’s position as a growing hub of global financial activity, offering a unique blend of economic, cultural, environmental, human, and technological capital. The event will delve into key topics shaping the future of the financial sector, including the evolving role of capital markets, the integration of sustainable finance, technological innovations, and the growth of human and cultural capital in driving economic development. The official opening ceremony will be attended by top officials from the Abu Dhabi government, as well as heads of prominent global investment and financial institutions. The event will also attract key VIPs from the financial world, underscoring its global significance. Flagship forums under the ADFW umbrella include the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum, Asset Abu Dhabi, RESOLVE 2024, Fintech Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum (ADSFF).
