Flight EY1 touched down at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Monday, April 22, marking the launch of the flight. The carrier’s two daily flights to New York, one serviced by the A380 and the other by a 787-9, cater to diverse traveller preferences across First, Business, and Economy cabins. Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce our A380 experience to New York, confident that our guests will relish the exceptional onboard journey.” Neves highlighted the airline’s commitment to providing “unparalleled service” across all classes, from economy to ‘The Residence’, which offers passengers a private living room, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom complete with a shower at 40,000 feet.
