UPDATE: Dubai Airports has now also reopened check-in procedures at Terminal 3 for Emirates and Flydubai, according to a statement by state news agency WAM.

“In a recent update regarding airport and flight operations, Dubai Airports has announced that the departure hall at Terminal 3 is experiencing a significant influx of passengers, urging customers to make their way to the airport only if they have a confirmed flight booking,” reads the statement.

“Dubai Airports also advised passengers to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates on their flights,” the statement adds.

Meanwhile, earlier today Dubai International Airport (DXB) also announced the resumption of arriving flights for airlines operating out of Terminal 1.

However, flights continue to face delays and disruptions due to ongoing weather challenges.

The airport authority emphasised the need for passengers to arrive at Terminal 1 only if they have a confirmed booking and are urged to contact their respective airlines for the latest information on flight status.

The airport authority has answered frequently asked questions for those travelling to and from DXB.

Dubai Airports status update

Answer: Guests on diverted flights will either be repatriated back to DXB or disembarked at alternative locations in the region. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for status updates.

Baggage handling

Question: I checked in my bags but my flight was rescheduled/cancelled. When will I get my bags back?

Terminal 1: Food distribution ongoing with more supplies en route
Terminal 2: Food distribution in progress

As Dubai Airport continues to manage the aftermath of severe weather conditions, passengers are encouraged to stay informed and exercise patience during this period of disruption.
