The Fatwa Council confirmed that Wednesday, April 10 is the first day of Shawwal marking the first day of Eid Al Fitr as the moon was not spotted on Monday after the evening prayers. Saudi’s Supreme Court had asked Muslims across the country to sight the crescent moon on the 29th day of Ramadan to look for the moon.
