Courtyard by Marriott Jubail is the first Courtyard Hotel in the Eastern Province of the kingdom. Situated in Majd Square, the 165-key property is located on King Faisal West Street, a short drive from Cenomi Al Jubail Mall. The new build property has a total of 34 suites. Its F&B offerings include Kitchen and Barista, the hotel’s main restaurant which serves a selection of international cuisine and has buffet as well as à la carte options. The restaurant has an indoor as well as outdoor seating area, and guests have panoramic views of the city and Majd Square. The property also has a Coffee Bar which serves specialty coffees and light bites throughout the day. Courtyard by Marriott Jubail has three meeting rooms which can host business gatherings, conferences, and social events. The ballroom can be divided into two distinct spaces, depending on the number of guests present. Additionally, adjacent to the hotel, there is an indoor pool and spa bath for guests. “We are delighted to see the opening of Courtyard by Marriott Jubail. The new hotel will bring comfort and convenience to the Eastern Province with our contemporary accommodations, exceptional dining options, and facilities,” said Nabil Khamaiseh, the hotel’s general manager. Over the last few months, a number of major hospitality brands are increasingly establishing their presence in the Eastern Province. UAE-based hotel management company Rotana opened its first five-star hotel in Dammam under its Rayhaan by Rotana brand last year. Dana Rayhaan by Rotana has 285 rooms and suites and is a sea-facing property. More recently, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts confirmed that it will imminently open a property in the Saudi Arabian city of Al Khobar in the Eastern Province. Ramada Encore by Wyndham Al Khobar Corniche is expected to welcome its first guests in August and will feature 79 rooms spread across 12 floors. Hospitality group Accor also signed a master development agreement with Saudi startup Amsa Hospitality to develop and franchise 18 hotels across second-tier cities within Saudi Arabia over the next ten years in several cities across the kingdom including Jubail.
