Eid Al Adha 2023: KHDA announces holidays for Dubai schools

Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the education regulator in Dubai has announced the official Eid Al Adha holidays for private schools in the emirate.

The regulator issued an advisory, stating that schools will be closed for Eid Al Adha starting from Tuesday, June 27.

تبدأ إجازة العيد في المدارس الخاصة بدبي اعتباراً من يوم الثلاثاء ٢٧ يونيو، وستفتح المدارس أبوابها مجدداً يوم الإثنين ٣ يوليو. نتمنى لكم أوقاتاً سعيدة بصحبة الأهل والأحباب.

Regular operations will resume on Monday, July 3.

This year, the Eid Al Adha holidays align with the summer break for numerous schools in the country, offering families a chance to enjoy extended vacations.

Eid Al Adha holidays for private sector

The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced a public paid holiday for the private sector from June 27 to June 30 on the occasion of Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha.

Employees will get a four-day break to mark Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha.
