These stations are designed to provide a range of flexible transportation options, including bikes, mountain bikes and e-scooters, in collaboration with Lime, a micro-mobility provider. RTA aims to enhance the soft mobility infrastructure in Hatta, offering a diverse array of individual mobility choices that align with the region’s ongoing progress. During the first quarter of 2023, the trial phase for the bike and e-scooter stations witnessed substantial participation from various segments of the community. #RTA has started operating individual mobility stations for bicycles and E-scooters at 11 sites along a 9 km route in Hatta.https://t.co/6pqh6VIL3f pic.twitter.com/1pUQ7jFtXx — RTA (@rta_dubai) June 20, 2023 The recorded data for this period indicated a total of 1,902 trips, with e-scooters accounting for 984 trips and bikes and mountain bikes constituting the remaining 918 trips.Statistics indicated that 93 percent were satisfied with the services provided during that period. Visitors and residents of Hatta now have the opportunity to enjoy the mountainous environment by renting individual mobility options with a total of 600 shared means of transportation available. This collection includes 250 e-scooters, 250 bikes and 150 mountain bikes, all of which can be used on an extensive 11.5 km track network. The individual mobility stations and rest stops are conveniently distributed throughout Hatta’s popular tourist spots, including the Hatta Heritage Village, Wadi Hatta Park, Hatta Hill Park, the public bus station and Hatta Valley.
