UAE to celebrate Saudi National Day with fireworks, festivities and retail offers

The UAE will celebrate Saudi Arabia’s 92nd National Day across the city from 23 to 26 September with large-scale celebrations, under the theme ‘Together Forever KSA-UAE’.

Organised and presented by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the city will host an extensive programme of concerts, entertainment, firework displays, retail promotions, fun-filled activities and hotel deals.

Dubai’s iconic locations including Burj Al Arab, Ain Dubai, Dubai Frame and Museum of the Future will light up in green and be decorated with with Saudi flags.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took to Twitter to congratulate the kingdom for their National day.

In terms of celebrations, there will be concerts featuring Arabic music stars like Assala Nasri, Fouad Abdelwahed and Aseel Hameem at the Coca-Cola Arena on September 24.

Saudi citizens will get 25 per cent off VIP tickets at the at the Dubai Dolphinarium, while Dubai Parks & Resorts is offering free entry for one child with every paying adult. A special Imagine fountain show will be held at Dubai Festival City Mall, followed by fireworks at the JBR beach and Bluewaters at 8.30pm.

Moreover, top retail brands throughout Dubai’s malls will offer from 25 per cent up to 75 per cent off across fashion clothing, accessories, footwear, cosmetics, beauty and perfumes, optics, home and outdoor furnishings, electronics, pharmacies, as well as department stores and hypermarkets.

There are also exclusive ‘Stay 7, Pay 5’ offers at Dubai’s top hotels and resorts including Caesars Palace, Atlantis The Palm Hotel & Resort and Nikki Beach Resort & Spa.
