UAE reports 721 Covid-19 cases, 631 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 721 new Covid-19 cases on August 17.

The new infections were detected, after 224,482 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 631 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the recovery count to 985,429.

One death was reported in the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll to 2,340.

The nationwide Covid-19 case count has risen to 1,007,039.
