Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 2,616 cases, 982 recoveries The nationwide case count has risen to 793,314 by Zainab Mansoor January 12, 2022 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 2,616 Covid-19 cases on January 12. The new infections were detected, following 300,893 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry announced 982 recoveries in the last 24 hours, raising the recovery count to 755,670. Four deaths due to Covid-19 complications were also reported, increasing the related death toll to 2,181.
