During the meeting, which took place at Al Bahr Palace, Sheikh Mohamed and Bio discussed bilateral relations and co-operation between the UAE and Sierra Leone, especially in the investment, economic, trade and development fields, official news agency WAM reported. They also discussed ways to develop stronger ties and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern. The meeting also highlighted Expo 2020 Dubai and the importance of leveraging the initiatives it offers in the fields of sustainability, opportunity and establishing partnerships between the countries. Sheikh Mohamed wished Bio a pleasant stay in the UAE, and conveyed his wishes of further progress for Sierra Leone.
