Dubai: Fire erupts at plastic factory in Jebel Ali

A fire broke out at a plastic factory in Dubai’s Jebel Ali area.

No injuries were reported thus far, though plumes of smoke could be be seen filling the sky, caused by the burning of flammable plastic materials.

The Dubai Civil Defence team has successfully extinguished the fire at the plastic factory in Jebel Ali; the heavy smoke seen at the site is due to the nature of the plastic material. pic.twitter.com/gDTRpLY8SR

However, the Dubai Civil Defence team extinguished the fire and ensured a safe evacuation of the premise, Dubai Media Office reported.
