UAE: Flights from India, Pakistan suspended until August 2 – Etihad

Suspension on inbound flights from India and Pakistan to the UAE has been extended until August 2, Etihad Airways has said.

“We’ve just received confirmation that flights from India are suspended till August 2, and we are not entirely sure if this will be extended as it depends on the authorities,” the Abu Dhabi-based carrier said, in response to customer queries on Twitter.

The airline added that further extensions, if any, will be decided by the authorities.

Dubai carrier Emirates said earlier this week that flights from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will remain suspended at least until July 28.
