Home Covid-19 Covid-19: UAE reports 1,508 new cases, two deaths The total death toll in the country has reached 1,900 by Aarti Nagraj July 19, 2021 The UAE reported 1,508 new coronavirus cases on Monday, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the country to 662,486. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that the cases were detected after it conducted 227,582 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours. According to the ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. MoHAP also announced two deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,900. It also noted that 1,477 patients had recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 640,248. In a statement, the ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. It also urged the public to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distancing to ensure the health and safety of all. The NCEMA said that gatherings should be limited to families living together and first-degree relatives. “It is important to take the test and ensure that everyone is healthy before any visit.
