Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,251 cases, 2 deaths The case count in the UAE has risen to 546,182 by Zainab Mansoor May 16, 2021 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has confirmed that 1,251 cases of the novel coronavirus infection were detected on May 16. The new cases were detected, following 103,918 examinations conducted to screen for the virus. The health ministry also confirmed 1,222 recoveries and two deaths during the past 24 hours. A total of 526,302 patients have recovered from the infection, after having contracted it, while as many as 1,631 people succumbed to it.
