Home GCC UAE Dubai’s Burj Khalifa to feature special light and fountain show during Eid The show will debut Mohamed Al Ahmed, Emirati composer and director by Iman Hussain May 10, 2021 This upcoming Eid break, Dubai residents and tourists can head to the Burj Khalifa to see an Eid-exclusive light and fountain show. The shows will be on every night at 8pm during the Eid long weekend. The UAE has declared a paid holiday for the private sector from Ramadan 29 (Tuesday, May 11) until Shawwal 3. The shows have been choreographed to LED lights and a special track entitled Esmaha Dubai, written by Emirati music composer and director Mohamed Al Ahmed, who will be making his debut. The Burj Khalifa light show will coordinate with the Dubai Fountain to produce a show that blends the choreography of the water and light with the music. Downtown Dubai features a variety of activities from arts and culture to shopping and dining, visitors. The Dubai Fountain, adjacent to the Burj Khalifa, is the largest choreographed fountain show in the world. It features a daily show from 6pm – 11pm within 30-minute intervals, with each performance lasting up to five minutes. This Eid break, the UAE is hosting a plethora of events that are not to miss including a fireworks show over Yas Island.
