Home UAE Dubai Dubai’s Emirates suspends flights to Hong Kong, Dhaka Outbound Emirates flights from Hong Kong will still operate as per their schedule by Varun Godinho April 13, 2021 Dubai carrier Emirates has temporarily paused flights to Hong Kong until April 26. A statement issued by the airline read: “Customers holding tickets on flight EK 384 with final destination to Hong Kong from April 13-26, 2021, will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin.” Flight EK 384 from Dubai to Hong Kong makes a stop-over in Bangkok. Emirates has confirmed that passengers traveling to Bangkok as the final destination will still be accepted for travel. Also, all customers booked on outbound flight EK 385 from Hong Kong to Dubai via Bangkok will be permitted to travel. Meanwhile, the airline said on Tuesday that it was also suspending all flights to and from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, from April 14, 2021 until April 20, 2021. The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said earlier this week that a decision was taken to suspend all international flights for one week starting from April 14 as a measure to curb the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the Asian country. The last flight Emirates will operate before the temporary suspension of services is EK 585 which is scheduled to depart from Dhaka at 1:40 am on April 14.
